It is not yet St. Valentine’s Day, but this Sunday, we’ll encounter the familiar words “Love is patient, love is kind...." Paul continues to describe how life together works for God’s people with some very important, practical words on how the whole church holds together. The bond is none other than the self-sacrificing love of Jesus that 1) gives the church life; 2) gives the church meaning and 3) keeps the church working.
