Bethany's Holy Week services have seen some changes and adaptions since the beginning of the global pandemic, but Bethany continues to be committed in providing a fulfilling experience this Lent and Easter season, whether you choose to worship with us in-person or online. All Holy Week services will be in-person and online. Join us Easter morning with our outdoor Easter Sunrise Service at Mt. Comfort Cemetery, which is followed by the Youth Group's Easter Breakfast at the Bethany Fellowship Hall at 8:00 a.m. All are welcome. If you love music, stick around for our Traditional Easter Service, which starts at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary and includes professional brass players, bells, a timpani, and multiple choirs. Join us for this joyous occasion as we celebration the Resurrection of our Lord!
This year we will again be posting a recorded service for Thanksgiving worship. This 30-minute video will include hymns, prayers and a short homily based on Philippians 4:12-13.
Look for the service to be posted on November 20, on our live stream page. The reason for a virtual service is to help our members and friends share the Thanksgiving message from our church. You can do this by inviting your family to watch the service with you and by sharing it on social media through Facebook, X and YouTube.
Advent is a busy time at Bethany Lutheran! During Advent, Bethany Lutheran Church offers Wednesday night services at 7:30 p.m. using the Holden Evening Prayer. This is in addition to our regular 10:00 a.m. Sunday services. We also offer some other special services during the month of December including our Preschool Christmas Prgram and special Christmas event; our Family Christmas Eve service featuring our children's choirs, and our very special Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, which includes a professional brass quartet, a flute, the organ, and multiple choirs. We hope to see you there this Christmas Season!
Bethany’s Christ for All Nations will be hosting its annual Watch Night, an overnight worship and prayer service to usher in the New Year. Light refreshments and fellowship usually follow the service in the early morning hours.
