Trinity Handbells
This is a mixed-generation handbell choir (ages
12 to 80+) that rehearses on Mondays from 8 to 9 p.m. They ring 5
octaves of handbells. You do NOT have
to be able to read music, since all parts are color-coded!
This choir also rings for worship usually once
a month, and participates in the pre-service music on Christmas
Eve and Easter Day.
There are openings for new members (especially for
bass bells...the heavy ones! [the bells...not the ringers!])!
The World Premiere of Trinity March
by Mark Schweizer
This handbell work was commisioned by the
Trinity Handbell choir in honor of Director Linda Hemphill's recent
60th birthday. This
work debuted at Bethany Lutheran Church's 2nd annual Sounds Sweet handbell concert, May 21, 2005.
